Page not found

I have a pingback on a website that is generating a fair amount of traffic to my website. At some point, I was advised to take the dates out of my permalinks. Unfortunately, this was after the pingback was made so anytime someone checks out my blog through the pingback, they are getting a 404 page not found error. Is there a way to fix this? I am a newbie to wordpress so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello!

Looking at your domain (dogwoodsanddandelions.com), I see that this is not hosted on WordPress.com, but on SiteGround. What this tells us is that you are WordPress.org user, not a WordPress.com user.

This forum is dedicated only to the websites hosted on WordPress.com.

WordPress.org is the self-hosted version of WordPress.com. To learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, check this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

The support forums for WordPress.org can be found here: https://wordpress.org/support/. Feel free to follow the link and create a new support request, like you did here.

    Hope this helps!
