Page not found in search engines

    To whom it may concern:
    Hello, I have not been able to find my posts on any search engine. My settings have been on ‘public’ for more that a year now. However, I can’t even find the page itself; not even if I type its full name in Google.
    Some time ago, I received an email from your support team that reads as follows:

    ‘We recently discovered that an error in our system caused your site, luciferouscosmology, to be hidden from search engines by default.
    We’ve updated luciferouscosmology for you so that search engines can now find it and include it in search results. But if you prefer to stay hidden from search engines, you can update your site’s visibility in your Settings.

    However, it seems that the problem still persists… Could you please provide any help?

    It sounds like you have done your research, but it may benefit to take a look at this document explaining SEO on WordPress.COM just to make sure everything looks right on your end.

    Hi there,

    Search engines only index your site if there is something to index. Your site only has two published posts, the most recent one published 3 hours ago, and the last one before that published in 2015. With that little content no search engine will index your site.

    If we speak specifically of Google, they also prioritise recent content, so if you don’t publish anything new for a significant length of time they even start removing your site from their indexes, so even if your site was indexed after that one post in 2015 (very unlikely), it would have long since been removed from the indexes by this time.

    If you start posting again regularly, search engines will start indexing your site again, but it will take four to eight weeks of regular posting before your site will start appearing in search results, and even then there’s no guarantee that it will appear on the first page of those results.
