Page not found message when I try to view a menu

  I’ve created a page called About and can see it in the menu part of the admin, but when I click ‘view’ is says page not found. The link is there on my static homepage, but when I click on it I get the error message. It’s published so I can’t work out why it’s not showing. Any ideas?

  I’ve worked it out – I was using the ‘about’ page as my posts page in Reading Settings to create my portfolio page. I created a third page which was essentially blank and assigned this to the posts page, and now it all works.
