Page Not Found, ‘Nothing here’ When I type [mywebsite].co.uk/wp-admin

    Hi, I’m having an issue with the wp-admin login, as well as using my site’s URL. I had just linked all of my website’s pages and made them public, when I mistakenly changed the home page’s URL. So I went through and sorted it out, only to find that, when I wanted to view my website and check everything was working, it had all gone wrong.

    When I type the URL in the search bar and enter, it does acknowledge that such a website exists, but there’s no design, colour, fonts etc. , just a white page with my text.
    Quite confused, I tried to log back in to see if I could fix it. Typing in [mywebsite].co.uk/wp-admin only took me to another white page with:

    ‘Just another WordPress site’
    ‘Nothing here’
    ‘It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?’ written on it.

    I’ve been scouring the internet for an hour now, already asked my host support team, who say there are no files and they can do no more to help me.
    I can see a lot of people are having ‘404 error page not found’ issues, but I’m not sure this is what I’ve got. Never in all the time I’ve been using WordPress have I seen this error occur.

    I’m also unable to login to myPHPadmin or mySQL, as no username or password that I try works. My hosts haven’t even suggested I try the above avenues (I found out about them on forums), and they assume I’ll just go and make the whole website again, which, unfortunately, I don’t have time for.
    This whole error has completely baffled me, and I’m hoping there’s a way to regain all of my work.

    Please help! Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!!

    Hello there,

    It looks like https://www.viewthrough.co.uk/ is a self-hosted WordPress site, which is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    This means that the support I can provide is limited.

    Can you tell me how https://www.viewthrough.co.uk/home/ was created? It looks like a template file or a different theme entirely to the rest of the site.

    Also, when you go to Pages > Can you see the page called “Home” in there?
