Page Not Publishing Correctly

  • Unknown's avatar

I am using pages on my blog to hold my game reviews I have written. I have already made about 38 pages that have been okay but this last page (my very last one!) is giving me a problem. When I create the page and preview it, it looks fine. Once I publish it the page turns into a buggy mess that looks nothing like my page.

A sample page is this review: http://knightsofindie.com/reviews/review-little-racers/

All of my reviews are in that format except for one: http://knightsofindie.com/reviews/star-hammer-tactics/

When I try to edit the page it links the page to a media image to edit, outlined in this pic: http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae25/ExaltedLegions/wtf.jpg

This is the only problem I have ever had with WordPress and is ironic because I am moving all of my reviews from my Yola site (because I hate Yola) to this amazing one. Any way of fixing this? I tried creating a brand new page and redoing it without copy/paste but it didn’t work. Same problem.

Thanks for any and all help.

I think that’s because in that particular case the image name is identical to the subpage title, so the URL of the subpage coincides with the URL of the so-called attachment page of the image. (In all other cases you took care to distinguish them by preeceding the actual image names by “Worth_” or “Not_Worth_”.

If I’m right, then you should either reupload the last image after you rename it like the others, or (faster) go to Pages, hover under “Star Hammer Tactics”, click Quick Edit, change slug from “star-hammer-tactics” to “reviews-star-hammer-tactics”, click Update.

Wow. I never would have thought of that. I made the change and it works now! Thank you very much!
