page not showing

  My site (marked private) has all the page headers in order and all pages under the page headings in correct order EXCEPT for one page. It is a “How to Use this Site” set of directions for family members. The page shows up as the first page under the correct header and is completely intact in the Dashboard section. It is marked correctly under the Parent page “How To” and is marked correctly as 1 on the Order section under Pages (Attributes). The other pages under the “How To”heading show up and are listed correctly as 2, 3, 4 pages. The one I am trying to make show up is Order 1.

  All pages under other headings are in correct order.

  I deleted cookies and temporary files and turned the computer on and off before I checked again. Any ideas?

  You know, instead of using all the page order stuff, I would suggest looking into using a Custom Menu instead as it gives you far more flexibility and options.

  Bingo. You fixed this for me! Thank you very much. I did not remember about the Custom Menu and I have one. I added the missing page to the Custom Menu, under the appropriate heading and now it is there — just where I wanted it. That is what I did wrong. I just could not remember. Thanks a LOT!!!
