Page Numbers

  How can I get page numbers to go in order. I have 8, 9, 10, 11, but 10 and 11 get listed first because of the 1.

  Have you read this entry in the wordpress.com Support Documentation?

  “If you are using the Pages Widget, http://support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/ you will want to edit the widget, click on the Sort By dropdown, and change it to Page Order. Then click the Done button on the widget options box and finally, click the Save Changes button. ”

  That is due to the way that databases sort text fields (which accept virtually any character), and the page titles are saved in text fields. If they were number fields (which of course would mean you couldn’t have alpha or special characters) then it would sort correctly.
