If you go to my blog, you’ll see the message “oops that page can’t be found – its the first page the blog opens
-

That’s a Preview link. I can’t see Previews. I can only see Published Posts. http://lajoliefleurblog.wordpress.com/ looks like a perfectly normal blog.
http://lajoliefleurblog.wordpress.com/2012/03/23/la-jolie-fleur-weddings/ appears to be your first post, and although it contains only your name, it’s a real post. It doesn’t go to a 404.

I’m embarrassed, wish I knew how to remedy this. even though the page has my design and the links all work there still remains this very prominent notice:
“OOPS! THAT PAGE CAN’T BE FOUND.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?”
when I click on any hyperlink the page then becomes interactive and I can start using the blog. For someone else who doesnt realize this it may seem like a dead end.

Since I can’t duplicate this, I am afraid I cannot help. Maybe someone else has some ideas.

Why are you clicking on that link that gives you the error? The URL for you blog is what readers will be clicking in, not that preview link.
