Page Optimisation By A Professional – Access?

  Hi,

  I know very little about web design and so far I’ve done everything myself where I’ve managed to get on page 1 for some search terms but page 3 for others.

  Through best efforts I’ve struggled to hit certain key words even though I’ve used them multiple times in in various places, tags, headers etc.

  So although I’ve got myself 95% of the way there so far, I’m now looking to pay a professional to see if they can do the changes required and assist in getting me through that last 5% to head towards page 1 for all search terms that I want and to hit the all the keywords that I’m after.

  I’ve been asked about FTP access or Cpanel so far, no idea what they are, I just know WordPress.com doesn’t allow them. So is there any other way that a professional can do work on my website without handing over my password and login details as they’re currently asking for them and I’m definitely not handing them over!

  I don’t know if it’s allowed here but if anyone can recommend anyone that can do such work too?

  Just to add – I’m currently on a WordPress premium plan. Will a WordPress business plan with use of google analytics allow me to do some deeper research on what on-page optimisations I can do?
