Page or post visibility

  Good morning! I hope you can help. I would like to put some pages (or posts – I don’t mind) into my website which are not public or private, but which are invisible ‘orphans’. I want people who have the correct web page address to be able to see them, but I do not want them to feature in any menu or automatically generated list of pages or posts. Is it possible, please, to make a ‘secret’ page like this?

  If you are talking about your site http://www.baboulene.com/ then password protected option should do the needful. Please check the below support document regarding the same.

  Having said that your question is related to a site that is using the WordPress.org software, which is hosted outside WordPress.com. Both(WordPress.com and WordPress.org) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Hiya, and thanks for the responses.

  My site is http://www.baboulene.com

  I do not want to password protect the page. I just want it to be available only to those who are given the complete URL.

  I’ve tried listing it as a page without ‘parents’, but it still comes up in lists of my pages/posts.
