Page order
-
I’ve spent 4 hours trying to change the order of my blog. I’ve searched the internet and none of the directions work. I need better support. I’m fed up with spending so much time on such a simple problem.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Do you mean that you want to change the order of your pages in your menu?
I could not access your site since it is set to ‘Private’, but you can have a look here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
to see how you can customise your menu/menus.Let us know if otherwise :-)

Thanks for the reply.
I am trying to change the order of my posts. I have numbered them but that didn’t work. I have seen several tutorials on how to set the order of how they appear but my WordPress does not have the options they refer to. Maybe it’s because I have the “free” version but nobody has mentioned that. I suppose I could change the “published” date on each one but that seems cumbersome. You would think it would be set up to simply drag them into the order you want.
I have changed the setting so you should be able to view my site. I am in the process of adding photos so it’s not finished.
Thanks again, Brian

Hi Brian,
I’m afraid that there is not ‘drag n drop’ ability to change the published posts that you create. Changing the ‘published’ date and time is one way of doing this, if you don’t have a lot of already ‘Published’ posts.
I have found the following guide for you, which will help you:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/show-your-posts-in-chronological-order/It does seem a little advanced, so I would try the first method of this guide, (changing the url structure), and go easy by trying it on one post first.
The ‘shortcode’ method that you will see there is maybe slightly more advanced – but again, if you go slowly and experiment it will become easier.
Have fun and let us know if you need any further assistance :-)
