Page order not appearing

  Last night I tried a different theme for my blog but decided to go back to the one I was using. As a result, I had to reset a few things and re-add the widgets and htmls on the sidebar which is fine but the pages are now out of order in the blog view. The page numbering on the dashboard is correct but it won’t appear in the right order in the blog view. Could someone please help me out. Thanks.

  Had you created a custom menu by chance? If so, typically when you switch themes, the custom menu will be deactivated and you have to go back to appearance > menu and choose it again in the theme location pulldown and click save.

  No I didn’t but I found the problem. I needed to open the “pages” widget and then “sort by” (dropdown menu) and then select “page order”. Thanks.
