Page Parent Changing Automatically

  Every time I edit my static pages, the parent/child relationship is being changed on one particular page without my doing anything to it. In fact, I may be editing a completely different page, and when I refresh the screen to look at my results, that page has become a child page automatically. Anyone ever see this? Is it a bug? Thanks for any help on this.
