  Hi, is there any way to add an image gallery embedded into a wordpress.com page? I tried Flickr but I guess because it’s flash all it does is show a link to the gallery at Flickr.

  Howdy rp024,

  The reason you’re likely getting only a link when you paste that code in is because the Flickr widget you chose isn’t trusted code. A lot of code that’s used to embed items into WordPress.com pages is disallowed, simply for security reasons. You can read more about this here.

  You do however have other options. There is a Flickr widget that you can use. From what you’re describing, it sounds like this may be what you’re looking for. Information on the Flickr widget is here.

  If you’re looking to do a slideshow inside of a post, you can do that with some different shortcodes, specifically the [gallery] and [slideshow] shortcodes.

  Those will probably be your best bet. Let me know how those work for you.
