Page / Post organization

    Hello,

I’m just getting started around here, and have some questions about how to organize my pages and posts.

On my blog site, my home page is my blog. I also have added a top menu header for “recipes” and I want to add one for “products/services I like.”

My intention was that when I would add a post with a recipe, I could have it appear under the “recipes” page only, and not on my homepage with the other regular posts. I wanted readers to be able to click the recipe header, and see a page with recipes, and be able to search in categories or tags in the sidebar for certain types of recipes.

Likewise, was hoping to have a similar set up for products and services.

I wanted the homepage to be dedicated to other types of posts.

However currently, all my posts (well, both, as I have only 2 so far), are appearing on the home page, and I can’t figure out how to “link” the recipe post to the Recipes menu header, or to have it appear there only.

    Is this even possible?
    thank you,

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Pages are a form of content, like posts, so they cannot contain posts.

Instead, utilize your categories as those have their own archive pages, like https://hashimotosandhamburgers.fitness.blog/category/motivation/
