Page preference settings

    Since three days ago when i log into my website admin page all my pages are displaying different to what my themes is and when i go to the preferences tab (three dots) and change the setting it refuses to save my changes. Every page has been somehow reset to not display the same way as my theme does. This is very annoying and i have been trying to workout firstly, why this has randomly happened and secondly how to always display any pages i am editing as my theme does.
    Its driving me mad, can someone please help as i am lost with no options available to sort this out. Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    What browser are you using? Does it happen if you try a different browser? Are you using any browser extensions? Can you try disabling them and seeing if that changes things?

    Thanks for reply, i am using Brave browswer on windows 10 specifically install for working on my wordpress site, no add on or extensions installed. I was using Mozilla nightly until this started happening, so i tried it with Vivaldi also and just seems the same. I had ghosterly add on install on nightly but this has never been a problem before.
    I pretty much got 90% of my site’s foundation work done, i signed in one day, went to create a new blank page and this is when i noticed the changes. I went on to check all the pages i had already created etc and they were showing the same change.
    I use different internet browsers for different purposes and for it to be happening across browsers that have never been to wordpress site is strange.
    Just very strange why this happened. I have managed to get things back to the way they were before, after changing the preferences for every page and now it seems all new pages display the same as the theme.

    Hello –

    It sounds like you were able to get things all fixed up. Please confirm. Did you happen to take any screen shots of the problems? I’m curious to see what the pages were supposed to look like versus what you were seeing. It’s not a big deal if you don’t have them.
