Page Requests/Speed

    Hi guys,

Im in the process of building our small company a new website via a WordPress backend.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction as to why every time I create a new landing page for a specific area the total page requests for all of our pages goes up.

For instance I first created this page which used to have about 96 page requests:

    http://051.970.myftpupload.com/photo-booth-hire-cobham.html

Then I duplicated that page a few times and customised the content specific for different geographical locations:

     http://051.970.myftpupload.com/photo-booth-hire-dorking.html

However now both the new pages and one listed first went up to about 140 page requests. The only thing that’s different other than text is 4 images. Which is been handled by Foo Gallery’s plug-in

Is this normal, as I’m concerned it’s going to spiral out of control as I have to create another 20 landing pages yet?

On a side note, the page speed tests don’t look too bad but any advice on getting the best speed results would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

     Doug

Hi there, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.

For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so if you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.

The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
