Page Set Up

    Hi,

    I am a high school Journalism teacher and I use WordPress to publish our news blog. Since we cam back from virtual learning, my web page just hasn’t been the same. I can’t figure out how to go back to what we used to have, which was a home with all of our stories posted with the newest at the top. Could you help me get back to that?

    Thank You!
    Haleigh Goff

  • Hello there,

    It looks like there’s been a theme switch, which may the cause of the issues.

    Can you tell me if this theme here: https://wordpress.com/theme/stow looks familiar? If yes, it may be worth switching back to this theme.

    I hope this helps so far.

    @Haleigh, @aleone89,

    Hi, this might also help: The top three posts on spartannewsblog.wordpress.com are marked “Featured.” On the Shawburn theme, a featured post is one that is marked sticky. You may “unsticky” them by unchecking the box labeled “Stick to the top of the blog” in the settings of each of the corresponding post editors, then saving the change by clicking the Update button at the top right. Once you undo the sticky classification on each of those three, all posts will be displayed in reverse-chronological order.

    See the Sticky Posts section of the Post & Page Visibility support page for relevant information on the sticky posts feature.
