Page settings

As is continually the case, changes to instructions mean one has to learn everything again… I’m sure there are advantages, but.
Trying to order my pages on a site, which I’ve had for years, I was unable to work out how to order my pages. On your help page, it shows the list of menu items for page settings, and shows an item named page attributes at the bottom, below discussion. On looking at this on my own website, I see that discussion is the last of the menu items; ‘Page Attributes’ does not appear, therefore, the new page I have just produced doesn’t appear on my website and I can’t find any way to add it to my page order on the menu.
Rather than spending hours, looking through various kinds of advice or support, a direct answer would be most welcome.

It seems one instruction which could be added to the Help information is that the “Page Attributes” item does not appear on lists of Post pages… Perhaps this will be of benefit to others, now I’ve learned the hard way.
