page showing in popular post widget

  Recently, I use feature slider in oxygen theme. I set a new page as a static page, as it is required to show the slideshow. Alas, the page is showing in popular post. How do I remove this? I want popular post widget to only show posts NOT page.

  Plus, the post in the first slider, if it is clicked, counted as a page, and it don’t count as a single post.

  Hi there,

  The Top Posts & Pages Widget is designed to show both posts and pages — there isn’t a way to exclude pages from that widget.

  However, if you switch that widget to show top posts & pages based on the number of “Likes” instead of “Views” only posts & pages with Likes enabled will appear. That way, if you don’t enable Likes on pages, they won’t show up in the widget.

  Another option is to use the Recent Posts Widget. That widget shows your most recent posts, instead of your top posts & pages, so it will only show posts.
