page space limits

  Hi there,
  I am relatively new to WP and blogs, i understand that there is a 3gb limit per account, but is there a limit to the amount of that 3gb you can use on an individual page… i am having dramas updating my current page, but WP will allow me to create a new page add content to it and publish it. if this is the case i may need to create more pages and break my content down and spread it about the new pages… Please help me Cheers Paddy

  The text of your posts and pages don’t count towards the 3gb limit – 3gb is for images or other files you upload.

  There is no specific limit to the size of a single post or page. For practical reasons you should limit it to something that doesn’t take too long to load in a web browser – but that’s subjective.

  What happens when you try to update your page? Is there an error message?

  the progress bar bar moves (slowly) then after some time the window is blank (pure white) but the status at the bottom left states “done”. to get out of that window i need to either refresh.. but then a drop down appears saying to refresh i need to re-send the request (to update) or i open up a new window, go to my blog but nothing has up dated. Tellyworth, thank you very much for your time and effort, it is really appreciated, i probably will create new pages and spread the info across them, to cut down on the refresh time as you suggested, it will be easier to navigate that way too, thank you again Paddy.

  Be sure to optimize your images. Optimizing mine on the blog (and ebay) has made a major difference to refresh. File size was reduced as much as 80 percent with the same size of photo, and some of them even look better! This was the site that I used. http://webresizer.com/resizer/

  Is this a problem on a particular post? Or is this a problem for you in general? The link you provided does not have any pictures on it.

  Give us a link to the page where your are having trouble.
