Page tabs have disappeared.

The tabs for my pages do not appear on my blog anymore. I’m not sure why they’ve done this. Can anyone help me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Are you talking about the blog linked to your username? I see the tabs for the only two pages you appear to have: “About me” (your front page) and “Blog” (your blog entries). Please confirm. Thanks :-)

Can someone tell me how to fix this? only my home tab works, but the others do not and I’m getting the 404’d error message on all tabs!

@decorchick
We don’t know where your blog is. It’s not linked to your username. Please post the complete and clickable URL for the blog in question starting with http:// -
I’m sorry but that blog is not a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM so we cannot help you with it. WordPress.COM blogs and wordpress.org installs operate on different code. The correct support forum to get support for that blog is here > http://wordpress.ORG/support
For more clarity please read the sticky post at the head of this forum or the summary provided by Staff in the support documentation.

Help! I’m ‘suffering’ the same 404 page-not-found rejection…
I’ve two Home tabs, only one of which works as I’ve just added it but the other doesn’t.
I am trying to add different tabs for various categories to make it easier to navigate all those subjects…
Can you help me please? -

@petracar: My best guess is that under Settings > Reading, your front page is not properly set up or is still pointing to a page that you deleted.
You can also check the instructions given here (they also indicate what to do if you still see two “home” tabs):
-
I fixed mine by going to Appearance> Menus > and then Theme Locations. Make sure that the option for Primary Navigation is blank.
Mine was set to a menu I created.When I changed it back to just no menu, then my tabs reappeared.
Hope this helps.

Thanks airodyssey – my frontpage no longer shows 404, but I still have 2 ‘home’ tabs.
I’ve followed the guidelines on your link but it simply made my blogpages the static homepage.Can’t figure out carabear89’s advice either – I suspect it has to do with a custom menu (which I will add later) but my primary concern is to get rid of the surplus home tab.

@petracar
The reason you have two Home tabs is because the one coded into the theme template is only a tab and not a real page and cannot be deleted. It’s meant to be used to return to the front page of the blog when clicked. You created another “Home” page and placed text on it that IMO belongs on an About page (about the blogger and the blog). The easiest way to “fix” this is to edit the Home page you created and change Page title to “About” and then click update in the publish module. Problem solved. -
