Page template changes after making a post
-
I am using a 3 column template. Everything worked fine until the upgrade. The problem now is that when I make a post. The center and right columns have shifted to the bottom of the page instead of being next to the post column. I am still trying to get use to this blogging. I was doing well at it until the upgrade. I have tried what was suggested before… Changing my font size, and when I write a post, I use MS Word Processor, (it has a spell checker), then I special paste it to Word Pad, then I paste it to the blog. and I still have the colums going to the bottom. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Link to your blog?
Usually it is an open <div> tag in a post. And there is a special paste function for MS Word because it puts quite a bit of code in there that messes things up.

Hi.
I’m also experiencing problems with my page. Posts are out of order and in the wrong column. It happened today…not sure what caused it or how to fix it.

Hi.
vivianpaige, I tried to do what you suggested and I got it straight. But it wasn’t an open <div> tag, it was at the beginning of a sentence. I removed it and the page looks like it supposed to. I went to the settings-reading page, and set to view one post. The page looked like it was supposed to. I went back to the settings-reading page and set to view 2 posts. The page went out of alignment again. So, I knew the problem was on that post.
I went through the HTML view and removed at replaced the <div> tags. The forth one I removed did the trick.
Thanks for the help. -
speedstudio – follow what jjmayo mentioned in the post below yours, except you don’t need to change it to 2 posts. Just go to the next page. Once you find the offending post, edit it and clean up the code.
