Hi lostsheepblogg,
When you edit the page you’d like to show the specific post on, you be taken to the block editor.
If you click on the + button at the top left, you’ll be shown a list of all of the available blocks. One of them is “Blog Posts” and another that may work for you is “Post Carousel”.
Both those blocks have an option labelled Choose Specific Posts, which does exactly as it sounds. When enabled, you’ll see a text box show up which allows you to enter the post you’d like to display.
Select that post and save/preview the page.
I hope that helps!
Cheers,

Hi there,
The Blog Posts block Eric refers to above can also be used to only display posts from a particular category on a page, of you can add a category directly to your site menu to take people to the category archive page.

If none of this is what you’re looking for, can you let us know in a bit more detail what you have in mind?

Thank you so much! That was the one thing that I was struggling to put into words on how to look it up so I hoped that this forum would work. This means so much to be able to selectively pick my posts based on categories.
Sincerely,

That’s great! Then either of those options can work for you – category pages if you just want a dynamic page that’s generated automatically, and follows the same design as your main posts page; or the block if you want a bit more control over the layout and how the posts are styled.
Glad we could help :)
