Page Templates
-
I had a custom page template which I had uploaded to my wordpress sento theme folder, which I was using to echo HTML in a Php file, creating a simple way to have a page hosted on my WP site that I made myself. Recently, within the past month, I noticed that there is no more option on page attributes to change my page template, and my page is no longer showing the template I had created and was previously using. Since I hadn’t touched it in a while and was working fine before, is there some update that has taken away the ability to use custom page templates? Is there another way to work around this? Thanks!

Thanks for that! It looks like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted at Bluehost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
You can also reach out to Bluehost for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you with this problem. You can reach their support here:
https://www.bluehost.com/contact
I hope that helps!
