Page templates don't seem to be working (Sela theme)
-
Hello,
I’ve been trying to create a static home page for our blog with the Sela theme. We do have a static home page now, but I want it to look more like the Sela theme example. In other words, I want to have one featured area with a picture behind the home page’s content, and below that, three front-page widget areas that link to other pages.
To get there, I’ve tried changing the “about page” (currently set as our static home page) page attributes to the “Front Page” page template, but it hasn’t changed anything.
Then I tried to create a new home page from scratch, using the “Front Page” template – but the template looks exactly the same as the normal page template, so I’m confused.
I also tried changing page attributes to “Full Width page” and “grid page”, but same result every time: nothing changes in the editor view, aka no new widget nor new code appears, and no matter what template I click on before publishing it, the page stays exactly the same.
Maybe I missed a step (am I supposed to activate page templates somewhere first?), or maybe it’s a bug, but anyway let me know if somebody can help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
