Page title not showing up on featured image
-
I’m trying to add panels on the front page of the website with the page title over the featured image. These are the instructions I’ve followed:
‘To set the background image of your panel, assign a Featured Image to the page. to set a featured image as the background.’
In the instructions, the sample image shown shows the page title on the featured image. However, on my site the page title is not shown on any of the panels, it is just the featured image. The only time I see the page title on the featured image is if I open the page in it’s own window.
I’d like the page title to be over the featured image, so when I scroll on the front page, I can see the all the titles. Please help!

See here https://wordpress.com/theme/affinity and now that you cannot change how an theme is designed to function.

Affinity supports prominent Featured Images on the blog, and single posts and pages. To set the background image of your panel, assign a Featured Image to the page. https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
Featured Images are displayed at 720 wide and flexible height on the blog, and at full-screen width with flexible height on single posts and pages.

Thanks for the links, but I’m still unable to resolve the problem. Under the affinity theme link, “setting up your front page” is what I’m having trouble with. In the example it shows the text “Our Story” and “The Engagement.” For some reason the text on my panels doesn’t appear. Any idea how to troubleshoot? This is all new to me, so I’m having a hard time setting up the site exactly how I want it to look.
