Page title still shows but isn’t there to delete

I deleted a page/gallery (under ‘Gods 2’ on my blog) and put it back on in the form of a slideshow on another page (‘More Gods’).
Having deleted the ‘Gods 2’ gallery, now I can’t get rid of the title and it is not listed anymore under pages so I can’t find a way of getting rid of it and of course it comes up with a polite message sayng not available.
I realise I should have simply deleted it all from pages but I would have thought the title would remain???
As usual I will very grateful for help. -
You have to edit your custom menu and remove “Gods 2” from your custom menu and then save the custom menu.

I looked to see if I could see a way of doing that…I can’t..well unless I take everything off and put it back on again…which makes me nervous…just as I have got things more or less how I want.
How can I can take it off? Is there some other way?

No, go to appearance > menu. In the “custom menu” section, click on the right end of the “Gods 2” title bar. That will open it. Then click on the “remove” link and that menu item will be removed. Then click “save menu.”

That bit was greyed out I didn’t think for a moment that would be the solution. Aargh! I can go to bed happy now! I could write a book about what newbies need to know. Every day there is a minor triumph. It is all written down.
