Page title will not change

  I’d be truly grateful for help in changing the title of one of my blog pages. I have tried and tried without success.

  Where I have edited the name in the Pages section of the dashboard it shows correctly, but once I look at the finished blog the title is still wrong. Everything else on the Dashboard works like a dream, I love WordPress. This one little hitch is driving me dotty.

  The title I’m trying to change is BOOKS. I want to change it to My Books.

  All I want for Christmas is to know how to change this. :)

  Hi merewoman,

  I looked at your page and it’s called ‘My Books’, but it appears as BOOKS on the menu bar. What I’m thinking is that you might need to change the title page on the menu.
  Unfortunately I can’t do this for you, but I can walk you through it.

  – Go to Dashboard>Appearance>Menu.
  – On the Menu Structure, find the BOOKS box and click on the tiny arrow near “Page” to expand the box.
  – On the Navigation Label field, change BOOKS with My Books.
  – Click on the blue Save Menu button to validate the changes.

  Then check on your website if the changes have been applied.

  That should fix your issue :)
