Page update

My Chapter two, Hermann Goering, edit page contains paragraph breaks that will not update to the page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you typing the post directly into the Write Post box, or are you copy pasting it from something else, like Word?

To get proper endnotes on the page, I pasted from word .pdf file. The endnotes came up as large Arab numbers — the paragraph breaks and indents were missing. Had to update those from edit page. The changes worked on some pages.

Yes, pasting from Word will do that. It adds in junk code that has all kinds of unintended effects, and they are cumulative, which is why they suddenly show up after you’ve been doing it this way for awhile.
I suggest:
1) go to Settings->Writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML” and save.
2) edit the post, select all the contents, and make sure the text format is “Paragraph.” Update the post.
3) see if that has fixed it.

That worked on the paragraphs.
The reason I went to pdf file was that doc uploaded with roman numeral endnotes. That was corrected with the pdf file; however, the endnotes now appear as large Arabic numbers. -
