I want my Intro post to appear on-screen at first glance to a especially my 1st site visitors, but my First Post article is showing as front/top page.
I am afraid my resders will miss the Intro piece ?
Is there a box to tick to reverse order they are displayed ? .. or does someone have a creative solution for me ? (I see in FAQ there’s something called ’embedding testimonials’ & now wondering if that might be a better way to go.
    Cheers from WendyWu

    Good day,

You can set a static home page, the page that will always show when reader hit your site, by following this guide:

  • Hi there

It sounds like you’re asking how to position a specific blog post at the top of your blog, regardless of how many posts you’re published afterwards?

If I’ve understood your question correctly, you may need to install a theme that enables you to “pin” a blog post, make a blog post “sticky”, or set a “featured” post.

When you make a post “sticky”, “pin” a post, or set a “featured” post, this generally keeps that post at the top of your blog, above the rest of your posts (which are displayed in their normal, reverse chronological order).

Testimonials are different. Testimonials are basically references from customers, or clients. You can read more about Testimonials here.

Hi, thanks ‘dt’ for your confirmation about “static homepage” which I had just found my way into and it seems to be the answer for me. Really appreciated .. Wendy

Thanks Paul. I’ve found resolve to display my “welcome” blog via “static homepage” (see thread) … but I’m now also interested in options you’ve mentioned – particularly: “pin a post” and “blog post sticky”.

One of these might be useful to “pin” my published responses to “Daily Word Prompt” .. which I’d really like to keep essentially under a pin – able to be delved into if that’s someone’s particular interest .. but kept away and separate from my normal blog posts.
(P.s. ..rookie mistake .. I’ve responded in this thread in a double-up reply you will see .. cant see how I can delete my double-up)
    Cheers from Wendy
