page views coming from spiders: what percentage? How can I find out?

My friend says that most of the views I get to my blog are from spiders and not humans. How can I check? My referrers are mostly social media or message boards.

Spiders are filtered out of your stats at WordPress.COM – if you looked at your server logs (can’t do here) the traffic would be more than double in most blogs due to spiders
