Page Visibililty and Privacy Settings

  I have set my blog as private with invitation only users but I noticed when editing a page that Page Visibility is set to “public.” Does this mean that anyone will be able to read my blog or that page if it is not also set as “private?”
  Most of my readership have Author authority and not above and would not be able to read the page if set to Private.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No, on a private blog ONLY invited readers can see it. If the particular page indicates it is “public” that just means that the invited people can see it. If it’s Private, only you can see it.
