Page Won't Appear in Pages Bar
-
So, I created a static page for my homepage. The page the posts are supposed to go on is called posts. I added this page to the menu bar but whenever I publish it and go to look at it as a reader would see it, my posts appear on the home page and the page titled post is nowhere to be seen. In an unrelated thing, the stock image that is supposed to be the background to the title of my website also does not appear on the published site. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Hi,
Please identify the site you are referring to. Is it https://mimichiganmoments.wordpress.com/?

Presuming that you’re referring to a WordPress.com site, adding a link to a page to a menu has no effect upon what appears on the front page. The settings that determine what appears on the front page may be found at Customize > Homepage Settings. See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page for relevant information and instructions.
…and the page titled post is nowhere to be seen.
Here’s your posts page: https://mimichiganmoments.wordpress.com/posts/. However, it’s presently a static page with no content. If you’d like to set that as the page on which your latest posts appear, then see the Optional – Create a blog page section of the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) for instructions.
In an unrelated thing, the stock image that is supposed to be the background to the title of my website also does not appear on the published site. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
If you have a site header image set, and it’s not displaying, then you might have inadvertently hidden it. If you’d like to display the site header image, then simply choose one of the default header images (or one you’ve uploaded) by clicking on the image at Customize > Header Image, and then click the Publish button.

If you set the static page titled “Posts” as your posts page, and would like to display a link to it in the header menu, then you may add the link to the page to a custom menu, as described in the Add menu items section of the Custom Menus support page.
