Page/Home redirect

  Is there a way to redirect a page (ie, one titled “home”) to my blog posts? I am using a custom menu so I can use both pages and categories in the page navigation, which is great, but in doing so there is no longer a “home” button/navigation. I realize I could make a category entitled “home” and just add it to every blog post I make… But I was hoping for a more elegant solution that doesn’t create a carbon copy of an existing page. I tried doing some odd things with the homepage/blog page feature just out of curiosity, making them the same or only using the blog half, but that didn’t work.
