PageRank of 0 after 4 months?

Bennis: I’m embarrassed to say…I’ll put it: only a fraction of the well-established well-bookmarked blog…. Anyway most people are coming from “Blog Pulse” and other feeds; only a very few from Google. Any idea why a new blog without links would get ranked?

I believe they take freshness into account. That’s why blogs are so good for companies: they rank WAAAAY higher in searches than plain old websites, because they’re typically updated several times a week instead of once a year or so.
Allow a small boast; only blogging since the second-last day of February and I’ve got a PR of 6, not that yesterday I knew what that meant.

I think blogs rank better more because of all the interconnecting links within one. They all support each and every other page. Usually, with a plain website, a single page usually just links back to the main page.

I just noticed my page rank again today when I used a firefox with the google toolbar installed.
PR7, im amazed :)
Glad they updated.
