pages

This may be something to do with my chosen Theme……but, how do I remove the pages from the bar across the top of the page? I just want to list them in the page widget. And also, I want them to stand alone and not be part of a ‘parent’. Thanks………………. still feel like a noobie!

We were all newbies once so don’t worry about it.

Unfortunately, the pages across the top of the theme is a feature of Connections (your chosen theme). Without access to the theme files there’s no way to remove them. You could “hide” them using the CSS upgrade but that’s a bodge workaround and not a great fix.

I think the only real options you have are to live with it or change theme.

    Hope this helps!

Ugh. Is changing a theme as easy as just picking a new one or do you have to re-organize all your data?

No, it is simply as easy as going to the theme viewer in your dashboard and choosing a new theme. When you have chosen you may want to reorganise widgets, but that’s nothing tragic. Data should be fine. :)
