  Hi – I have tried to read some of the forums.

  Is it possible ot placed Widgets on the extra pages you create?

  Please give the URL of your blog when you ask a question here (or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”). We get a lot of wrong visits, so we need to make sure it’s a wp.com blog. Often we also need to check things in the blog itself before we can give an applicable answer.

  Widgets are responsible for the content of your SIDEBAR. And you have ONE sidebar: you get the same sidebar when you view your posts or when you view a page you have created.

  Thanks for your answer.

  Sorry I didnt know about the url bit, here is mine http://karenjh72.wordpress.com/.

  I have another question now. I have placed a ticker on the sidebar but would prefer it to be at the top of the page here http://karenjh72.wordpress.com/countdown-to-2012/ is this possible?

  Of course: you just paste the same code in the html page editor. And it would be better, as the image is too wide for your sidebar.

  But do you need it to link to TickerFactory? If not, use only this:
