  If I make “sub” pages to parent page, why don’t I see them on the side bar or when I access the parent page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Ok, I figured out what I did wrong there, but here’s an associated question: On the side bar, I want this “child page” to look like a child, indented or something, I don’t want it to appear as one of the main pages. Are these links? Do I need to categorize them or something?

  That’s theme dependent: in most other themes they are indented. (But I can see you found a nice workaround!) In the theme you’re using, you can make them indented by adding this before the actual name (html code for spaces):
      
  Note: pages cannot be categorized.
