  Basically what I want, is to have all my posts on my homepage (like the normal default setting) but then have topics such as “fashion” “interior design” on a bar at the top, and I can add specific posts to the correct categories. So if someone wants to scroll through everything they can, but say someone visits my blog and they’re only interested in fashion they can go to the fashion page and just see all the fashion posts?

  Hi, looks like you have to create a Custom Menu with your Categories. You can learn how to do it from this support article:
