One my blog, my “About” page is both static and the front/home page.
The first page I created was “Depression Corner”. I had a specific image on the page and this is where I have been making my posts.
Yesterday I added a few more pages, gave them titles and a featured photo.
Today, my “Depression Corner” page no longer has the photo, but when I go into edit and I see my “feature photo”, the photo which showed previously, and should be showing now, is there, but not showing when I “view” the page.
While in edit mode for “Depression Corner”, if I click “view”, I land on the ‘About” page and then have to click “Depression Corner” to see the page.
Help – thank you

Hi,
The page “Depression Corner” (https://mentalhealthcafe.wordpress.com/depression-corner/) is not your posts page. It is a static page., with the featured image https://mentalhealthcafe.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/depression-1.jpg?w=1024&h=776&crop=1. I wasn’t able to find your posts page. While in edit mode for “Depression Corner”, if I click “view”, I land on the ‘About” page and then have to click “Depression Corner” to see the page.
Are you sure you’re not clicking “View Site” to get this effect? Otherwise, it would seem to be entirely unexpected.

[On] my blog, my “About” page is both static and the front/home page.
The “Home” link in your custom menu links to the “About” page, https://mentalhealthcafe.wordpress.com/about/. However, your “About” page is not the homepage.
The static homepage of the site is https://mentalhealthcafe.wordpress.com/home.
