Pages

Dear Word Press,
I am using the Free account so I get used to using Word Press functions and can begin creating content before moving over to a paid subscription. The ‘default’ gives me 4 pages. When I pressed ‘Add’ and made my new Page, then pressed ‘Save’, the Page never appeared in the bar above that the has the links to the pages. However, it shows up in the Settings display. Can you help me? Has something gone wrong? Why doesn’t the new Page appear on my website? This is my website: https://globalinstituteforurbanmobilityurbanplanning.wordpress.com/
Thanks for your assistance.

hi,
You can add your new pages to the “Menu” bar above by going to.
My Sites –>Themes (there is a box with “Customize” next to it, click that) –> Menus –> Primary
You will see your four pages names and a box with “+ Add Items” below them. Click that. You will get a list of all pages, choose the pages you wish to add to the “Menu bar” by clicking the + sign in front of the page name. Once done, click “Save and Publish” button on top. Done!
You will see your pages in the Menu bar above every page.
Let us know if you need further help.

Now I have an issue with inserting jpg images. I have several pages in which I wish to add video and images on the Page, but it doesn’t have anything in the tool bar. How can I insert these in pages?

Hi Michael,
It’s best practice to post a new question on a new thread instead of continuing same conversation. That way you will get a quick reply from the members.
You can add contents (images, videos, documents or audio) by going to the page in “Edit” mode. You will see a + sign inside a circle to ‘Add Content”, on clicking that you will get a pop-up giving options to type of content you wish to add. Choose the type of content, upload the file you wish and insert it on the page.
