Pages

Hi,
I’ve created a couple of pages on my wordpress site and have two problems: First, they do not have the ‘publish’ button at the top even when I’m in editing mode and second, they do not show up in my ‘manage all pages’ screen in either of the publish, or drafts. I’m sure I set these up incorrectly?

Hi @info1e519c65d4f – Could you please provide links to the pages you’re working on so I can have a look directly?
Based on the information you’ve supplied it sounds like you may be working on a template, and not a page. A template is like a layout container that surrounds your pages and posts, and typically includes elements like your logo, site title, navigation menu, and footer items. Templates have a Save button rather than a Publish button, and if they’re set up with a Content block, they will automatically pull in your page and post content. Your theme comes with several ready-made templates, so it’s not necessary to create your own from scratch.
Once you provide me with a little more information about where you’re working I’ll be glad to have another look!
