  where is the page choices where I want my blog to be posted

  There must have been a glitch. I recreated my blog and my page categories are now there on the right sidebar. The original blog post doesn’t even show up under draft, and it was saved many times.

  Hi there!

  You can create a new page and insert the “Blog Posts block” or the “Query Loop block” on the page itself. Either of these blocks will let you show the latest blog posts on the page. Once the page is published, you can add it to the sidebar menu.

  I’ll be happy to assist you with this. Can you create a page, insert one of those blocks, and publish it? Once that’s done, let me know the name of the page, and I’ll share the next steps for adding the page to your sidebar menu.
