Pages and Files not Connecting

    Hi, I’m working locally on a simple website, and a couple things have not been working that I believe are connected to each other: First off, my external CSS file (style.css) is not connecting to my index.php file, I have already checked to make sure they are on the same level too. Second, all of my pages, except for my home page are not working, when I open them it gives me the 404 error page. It’s like href is just not working for me at all. Here is the index.php file code:

    What should I do?

    As you are working on a site locally, your site is not hosted on WordPress.com.

    This is a public forum that provides support only for the sites hosted on WordPress.com.
