pages and links

    Hello, I am trying to add links to my own pages which can be accessed on certain designated pages. I would like the pages I link to to not appear on the top of my page as part of the main menu. I would like to have main categories at the top such as knitting and crocheting for example, then once people click on those pages, there can be links on those pages they can access with subcategories and so on. I don’t want all the pages viewable from the top though, so I am wondering if someone could help me figure out whether this is possible and if so how I can do this; thanks.
