pages and menu
-
Hi
I am using 20/10 and i added 2 pages but only the HOME page is showing on the menu bar and not the About page. Also, neither is in the items area within Pages in appearance->menu
what do i need to do to get any new pages i add on the menu bar and in the items area within Pages in appearance->menu (i’m assuming they should be there correct?)
thanks
DennisThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

sorry I’m not sure what you mean….in reading the doc it says
When you create pages on your blog, they’ll appear as tabs or links in a menu somewhere on your blog, depending on your theme.
The home page was automatically placed on my menu bar but the about page was not
Let me know if that clarifies
thanks for assisting

re: Pages order
There are two approaches.
1. If you have only pages in your horizontal menu and that’ is all you want in it see here to use numerical order. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/#order2. Creating a Custom Menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#creating-a-custom-menu
Adding Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages
Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menusCustom menu Troubleshooting – My pages are in the wrong order
Check the sub-pages themselves to see if you have established a Parent page and child page “hierarchical structure” in the page attributes module. Remove if required. Also remove any “order” numbers you have assigned that may conflict with the order you are creating by dropping and dragging. Or simply change them so they are the same order as you establish in the menu. Establish consistency – problem solved.
