Pages and posts text editor problems

Now I am new to this so maybe I’m doing this the wrong way or am I totally overlooking all sorts of great functions, but I’ll post my question anyway because I could REALLY use some help with my blog.

Now…over the past couple of weeks I’ve created a number of categories and pages for my contempt theme with a lot of hours spent and as such a lot of dedication. I wanted to launch my blog BIG TIME next week, and so I waited to post anything else but my welcoming post. I truly regret this decision, because I have stumbled on a WORLD of problems and frankly…I’ve been working the last 1,5 hour for NOTHING because wordpress does not understand waht I want to do.

I did an interview with this guy and am planning to do more, so I created an entire page dedicated to Interviews. And what does WordPress do? It posts it to the HOME page, instead of the interviews page. There is nowhere where I can change this, I even tried the permalink, so now Im really getting frustrated. Im starting to feel that it would be better to start my blog using another .com blogservice, because this was just the first of my problems.
I got the interview answers back in a Word-file, and when a copy pasted it to the write new post…it first of all made REALLY long sentences of it just as Windows Wordpad does and because of the limited cell spacing of my Contempt theme, it showed only HALF of those sentences. So here I am putting all my question in Bold and answers in Italic, spacing EVERY single sentence with much dedication the last 1,5 hours and finding the auto-save a bit of a disturbance…and THEN. Then I add ONE little link on the end of the post, while there were more being said in the interview and BOOM! The ENTIRE textstyle changes from Paragraph to formatted and I can start alllll over again.
Finally done again, I publish it…and ALL my enters (or
    in html language) are GONE.
It took me THREE times for EVERY
    to be recognized in wordpress.
As such, I’ve been busy with just the interview adminsitration longer then the ENTIRE interview itself! A real bummer as you’ll propably understand by now.

So my questions are: how do I change my post from the Home page to the Interviews page?
How can I post quicker in the future, with cellspacing and breaks working correctly? Is it smarter for me to post in the html section of the write a new post maybe?
And what’s the best way to copy paste info from Windows to wordpress without having to spend HOURS on the correct administration of it?

I REALLY hope somebody can help me with this, because if I need to go and find yet another blogservice (already tried three before this one), then I can’t launch my blog before friday, my vacation. Already told a lot of people it would be released this friday, so basically I’ll be in a bunch of trouble if the blog isn’t there or doesn’t work properly.

By the way, my blog url is http://europeanseduction.wordpress.com, if anyone wants to see for themselves which problems I encountered.

Sounds like you posted the interview to a post, rather than a page. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/ To move the post to a page, copy the entire thing, then got to write page and paste it there.

Secondly, never paste from Word. As you have discovered, Word creates all kinds of formatting problems (because it uses its own version of HTML). If you must use Word, make sure you use bottom row icon #6 http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/15/what-do-all-the-icons-mean/

I understand you are frustrated, but neverever past from Word. Word is awful, and will mess up things sooner or later.
