Pages are not visible through the menu-option

I have a parent page which is called ‘Articles’. I am now starting to post pages under that parent page. The goal being that if you hover over the ‘Articles’ page menu, the articles that are in it will appear to select from. Or if you hit the ‘Articles’ button, that you can find all the articles listed somehow, in that page. I thought this was obvious, but when trying out I could only find the articles by searching for them.

Depending on how your menus are set up, you might have to add the child pages manually to your menu. Check under your site in Themes > Customize > Menu(s) and try adding the child pages to your main site navigation. You can drag menu items to the right slightly in order to “nest” them, in most theme menus (again, some of this might vary by theme).
If you can’t get this to work, let us know what theme you’re using, and what options you have in your Customize > Menu area.
