Pages can't be found in Menus

  I hope you can help me.
  I have never come across this before, but I added two new pages. Then I went to >Appearance>Menus. When I search for the pages they are not found?
  Both pages are published publicly. I have a Home page, and another page which are found ok and there is no difference between these and the two I cannot find?
  Under >View all, or >Most recent, I can see what i presume are older versions of my page with the same title. These have been 410 deleted. But if i selected these, thinking they are my current pages, they return a 404 error cannot be found.

  In short i have two published pages that are not there?

  Any ideas?

  ….also, I even checked the box to auto add pages but this didn’t reveal them either?

  I have now realised my error. I was trying to create new pages with the same URL i had set a 410 deletion against. I have still deleted the pages but removed the 410 against it. That solved it.
  I’m still learning :)
